I Am About Ready To Slit My Wrists!

The world is going nuts and you may be part of the problem!

Let me explain something to you that is worth more than you could afford to pay. This one tip could make you a fortune if you think about it, take it seriously, and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!

The world is filled with confusion, your customers live in confusion, their lives are jammed with confusion. If you don’t believe me, just look at your life.

Guess what? You can make a fortune if you can figure out how to end the confusion. As a matter of fact I can tell you and every electronics manufacture in the world how to explode their sales in three words.

Are you ready? Here are the three words, “make it simple”.

I used to sell microprocessors and I can tell you that every engineer is trying to figure out how to make a product do everything. Who in the world ever came up with the idea that something has to do everything.

Let me prove my point, I want to buy a small digital recorder. I found one that I really like, you can record four hours on it, transfer it to your PC, burn CD’s, make MP3s, all cool stuff and it only costs $79.00. (I know even that was confusing for some of you.)

I went to the companies website and downloaded the manual for it.
The following is not a joke these are the actual instructions to set the time.
Start………………………………………………..

Setting Time/Date (TIME)

If you have set the time and date, information as to when a sound file was recorded is stored automatically with that file.
The time and date must be set to enable management of files in folder S (VN-240/VN-240PC/VN-480/VN-480PC), for the alarm playback function, and for the timer recording (VN-480/VN-480PC).
When you install batteries for the first time or each time you replace the batteries, the hour indication will flash. In such a case, be sure to set the time and date by following steps 5 through 9 described below.

1. Press and hold the MENU button for 1 second or longer.
2. Press the STOP or PLAY button until “TIME” flashes on the display.
3. Press the ENTER button. The hour indicator flashes.
4. Press the STOP or PLAY button to set the hour.
5. Press the ENTER button to accept the minute.
The minute indicator flashes.
Pressing the – button enables the hour setting again.
6. Press the STOP or PLAY button to set the minute.
Repeat steps 5 and 6 to continue to set the year, month and date in the same way.
7. After setting the date, press the ENTER button.
This completes the time/date setup procedure.
8. Press the MENU button.

You can switch the time indication between the 12-hour system and the 24-hour system by pressing the DISPLAY button while you are setting the hour or minute.
You can change the order of the date indication by pressing the DISPLAY button while you are setting the year, month, or day.
(Example: February 14, 2004)

End………………………………………………..

I kid you not these were the instruction.  However, it gets even better, there are 21 more things you can and probably have to do and learn to use this thing that have instructions just like this.

Do you understand what I am trying to tell you here? Let me make it real clear, I used to be a field applications engineer, I sold microprocessors, I don’t even want to try and understand this stuff, I don’t want to learn it, ALL I want to do is record something and play it back, that’s it. Do you get it yet?

No matter what business you are in you have to try to make it as simple as you can for your customers. Analyze every point of contact your customer has with your business, your service, your products, your website, your literature, your sales people, your yellow pages ad, your newspaper ad, your TV commercial, and so on. Are you making it a simple as possible?

By the way, no I didn’t buy it.

Now go adapt this to your business and skyrocket your sales.

Take care,
